Nerd Wars Part II . . . Superman, vs. The Hulk, vs. ???

A long running Internet Debate.
Since the Infancy of the internet Malach has run into superhero debates, Batman vs. Spiderman, the JLA vs. The X-men, Wolverine vs. the World. Perhaps the most intriguing, and the one always hardest to answer is Superman vs. The Hulk. Two being exceptionally strong, exceptionally invulnerable, the Hulk getting more powerful the angry he gets, and the Man with the cape with the bells as whistles (kind of hard to destroy something that flies at the speed of whatever, depending on the version of Superman). Of course since all these beings have different versions, you always assume the most powerful versions.

Malach used to love to enter these debates and bring in his wildcard. As geeks from across the world were yelling about Superman heat vision (the Super Lobotomy), and Hulk unlimted plateau of strength and invulnerabilty (Dude, he shrugged off Logan's claws), Malach would swoop is with a statement that always began something like this:

Pshaw, there someone who would wipe the floor with these two . . .

Of course that would get the nerds all riled up. Their nerdly glasses would steam, their pens would fly from their pocket protectors. And the answer from the nerds was always something to this effect.

Yeah right, who then?

Then Malach would pull out his wild card . . . that southern sweetie, Rogue. After the Nerd laughter (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL) would die down, Malach would explain it quickly. How would the like of Superman and the Hulk defeat Rogue, who with a touch, would set them in a semi-trance state and drain their powers away? And if she held the touch long enough, out right kill them, permanent asorbing their powers?

Nerd would try, but they could never get around the touch and avoiding the touch. I think many of them had a problem that Rogue was female . . . Nerds are scared of Females. LOL nerds you lose.

I am Malach and I am NOT scared of females.

Superman would win.And he'd render Rogue to her essential salts with his heat vision way before she could lay a hand on him.

One of the best debates was Iron Man vs. the X-Men, assuming he had time to prepare for the team's psychics (and wasn't drunk). Good debate there...think about it.

Well, Rogue does not have that thing called "super speed" for lack of a better term like Superman. Superman would be too fast for Rogue to touch. Though Hulk would just be too stupid (depending on which version we are talking about) but just smash and bash.

Ahh, the two biggest nerds on this blog.

Look at this more logically, have you ever known Superman to just indesciminately fry things with his heat vision? I could see him do that to a out of control Hulk, but not a sweet talking Southern Belle like Rogue. I see S - man engaging Rogue in fist-a-cuff, S - Man don't wear gloves and tend to go for the head.

Rogue is pretty smart and realizes it would be fairly simply to sap Hulk. Imagine Rogue/Hulk vs. Superman now.

you forgot about me Malach,

Gambit.

Eat that bitch.

oh, and if you find a way around that, we will go with the juggernaut. He's not a mutant AND he's always covered with armor. And I have my nerd ace in the sleeve, but this should deal with this battle for now.

Gambit, nowhere near the power of these three, Juggernaut, exposed flesh, I seem to recall Rogue tearing off his helmet. Vampire scrape and lick, idiot.

oh malach. now I'm going for the kill:

Azazel

go wiki him and get back to me Malach.

Hmm, here's a question we're all missing.
Rogue's power is to absorb other Mutant's powers. Now, while it may work on the Hulk, who's mutation didn't occur naturally, would her power work on Superman, who is not a mutant, and actually has no superpowers. WHAT? NO SUPERPOWERS? BUT HE'S Superman!
well, yeah, to us lowly humans, he's superman. but he's an alien. where he's from, those aren't super powers. they're just your average run of the mill birthgiven abilities (at least, as far as i know. i never was a fan of the blue guy, but i digress).
So, either way, he's not a mutant. Rogue's powers would not work on him, i'm guessing.

now, lets talk about a mutant who seems rather wussy, but only because he hasn't realized his potential. Yeah, sad as it is, I'm talking about Ice Man. I seem to remember, just as i stopped reading comics due to financial reasons, that Emma Frost had possessed Ice Man. And, she was able to truly tap into his powers.
now, think about it. Your body is made up of mostly water. As is the Hulks. As, i'm guessing, is Supermans. As is Rogue's. As is the world. Dude, IceMan could just freeze all the water in the air around you, without even coming close to you, and then freeze you on the spot. faster, i'm guessing, than superman could heat ray it out.

sorry cats, Ice Man takes the cake.

Rougue can take powers no matter if their not mutants. She's done it before. but she's no Azazel.

Yeah, Rogue works on anyone, even the unpowered.

Rogue may be a formidable foe to some.....but what about villains? Villains such as GALACTUS!!!!

Yeah, Galactus, Darkseid, what ever. The Beyonder, whatever.

Mianus Conneticut?

well superman will win because hulk is only dangerous if he is mad, in other words Superman is always prepared, but hulk has to go remember his bad times -get mad and then ready to fight that will take him at least 5 minutes to be ready and 5 minutes could be too late, or ask a person who died of cardiac arrest. lol

uh, again. Ice Man

But rougues attacks don't work instantly, so If the hulk would to pick a semi and drill her through the head with it.... And one hit from either and she's dead.

^ but only if Hulk has a bad taste for women... cause look at her, she is hot! lol

I was in love with Rogue when I was 12.
