According to the NYT, the Bush Administration just gave the go ahead to expedite the shipment of precision guided bombs to Israel. Just a little background info, the US provides about $1.8 billion dollars to Israel in "Foreign Military Financing" every year. This is a major part of the reason why so many Arabs see the US and Israel as one and the same. Those aren't just US made F-16's flying over your desert home, those are also US made precision munitions being dropped on what used to be your house.
This news about the "rush order" being filled by the US for our Israeli friends is just going to add more fuel to the fire while the IDF rolls into Lebanon to hunt down Hezbollah. Those are our tax dollars killing innocent Lebanese civilians.
Hey, would you deliver these bombs for US?

I could never agree with the financial expenditure of such nonsense.
You're starting to convince me that there is no rhyme or reason to the spending of hard earned US tax dollars.
I will say, however, that this has been a US policy for generations. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
So, AV, what make Isreal so valuable to the US that we would do this? This administration especially would not spend without the promise of profit.

uhm well I never liked wars, I lived one on my skin and sucks, sucks to see people's life slipping from your fingers no matter how hard you push, suck to be spilled by innocent blood and have to clean yourself acknowledging that is not dirty blood. I like the irony, the US supplies Israel with weapons, the US who stole the Nazi tech. that begot these weapons 60 odd years ago.
We didn’t just steal the nazi tech we stole the Nazi's who invented it too.
Not to mention the Japanese "doctors" who vivisected Chinese victims to study the potential of anthrax and other pathogens as biological weapons. Yeah, we took them too, after the war.
