A couple of days ago, Malach posted an interesting article on why the sport of soccer (football) is not as popular in the United States as it is in the rest of the world. He made many valid points, and as far as I'm concerned he is totally correct, but he failed to mention one point:
Soccer Fans Are Idiots!
Soccer isn't so important to me that I'd actually neglect the safety of my family and wander around looking for a socket while my house smolders in the background. Enjoy, fellas.

Did you even read the article? The guy's house was BURNING DOWN and all the guy could think about was watching the game. Don't get me wrong, I think most sport fanatics (not viewers, just fanatics) are complete morons.
Yes, Toyi, I agree that people who are engulfed into steroid-driven sports are idiots. I never argued against that. I just think that if my house was burning down I'd have priorities (first family, then Xbox 360, then maybe pets).
Am I a bad debator? Hell, yes, which is why I don't get political here. Am I wrong? In that particular case I find that man to be an idiot, so no. One of the coolest things abour being American, though, is that I can call anyone an idiot and feel no regret.
Was I making a hasty generalization when calling EVERY soccer fan an idiot? Yes. Was I serious? No. As an American isn't it my God-given right to call anyone an idiot? Oh yes, and I will not hesitate.

My goodness. I was making a sarcastic generalization when I called all soccer fans idiots. I would certainly call you personally an idiot if you let your house burn down while frantically trying to find a way to watch a soccer game. Until then, that guy is an idiot and I will speak in sarcastic generalities because it lights fires.

I'm just going to kill myself. It was SARCASM. I was KIDDING. That ONE guy was an idiot. Soccer fans are NOT idiots. I quit. I'll just post next time I have some weird shit to post that's too incredibly weird to be taken seriously.

As for Football and steroids, The NFL is extremely strict when it comes to steroids, now human growth hormone . . .
