When will they learn?

They never learn.
There has been this trend in the NFL of ultra powerful offenses, who run up points, and blow out teams, only to lose to good teams, usually early in the playoffs. Then they say stupid things like the Bengals did this after getting their jocks handed to them by the Patriots: "Uh, we were the better team" "They can't play with us, I don't know why they won" and the kicker, "The better team lost today". We have heard it from the Rams, the Colts, the Bengals, even at one time the Steelers. Don't these idiots realize the blueprint to winning in this age of the NFL is not a team that can score 40 points with, but can't stop me from scoring on them. They run up against these good balanced teams, and lose, everytime.

The blueprint is out there idiots. Look at the best two teams of the past 5+ years: the Patriots and the Eagles. What do they have in common?

1. A all star QB, who makes few mistakes and can manage game.
2. Excellent clock management skills
3. A defense that won't nessecarily stop you cold, but force you to play a game you not comfortable playing.
4. A decent enough running game that make you play action effective
5. A bunch of hard nosed but clean living players on both offense and defense who welcome contact.
6. A dominant dominant defense line.

The Pats do it everytime. Look what they did to Cinncinatti. They let you have the middle of field and let you run, playing a time consuming game you not used to playing. They smacked around your wide recievers and QB. They rushed 3 or 4 and covered with the rest. They ran the ball down you throat. They made you make mistakes. Then when you lose, and you sit there by your locker in a daze, you say stupid stuff like this to the media.

Albert Haynesworth
Not sure if you have seen this yet.

First he kicks the player helmet off, the stomps on his face, with metal cleats. I don't know if you have ever been cleated, but there is a reason why they don't allow the metal ones below the college level. There is no place for this in the NFL, and I am sure Haynesworth will be repaid on the feild. The player who was stomped Andre Gourade, got 30 total stiches above and below the eye. To credit the NFL they gave Haynesworth the longest unpaid suspension for behavior ever, 5 games. Get this, the NFLPA is appealing. Why? I understand that is what a union is supposed to do, but what about the guy he stomped, also a member of the union? You are an embarassment Gene Upshaw.

Deja WoW!
Not too many people remember this one:

And this is for some of our younger WoW members.

That is absolutely uncalled for. I can't believe the crowd booed when he got thrown out. The cowboys should have all ganged up on the guy at once, each one getting a stomp before the kicker got one swift go at a body part of his choosing.

5 games? I'd ban him permanently. It's just a game, cockpouch, get over it. There's nothing he could have done that would have warranted him a cleat to the eye.

What the hell is a cockpouch?

That's a good question. I think I picked it up from some sort of webcomic. It's one of those generic insults where they juxtapose something anatomical with something that makes no sense to make a disgusting and rather shocking insult.

Spacefarmers mouth?

Captain Flak's prostate?

The nickname Representative Foley gives to his male pages?

What Foley's priest called him?

Oh now lets be fair . . .

Monica Lewinsky's nickname?

Yes, Barbapapa was very popular in foreign countries. As for Pinwheel, that is like 1986. I don't think you were watching kids shows then.
