I want to make a few points. Serious points.

Malach provides some stats and stuff, but I've really done some homework and found out something that seems small, but is a huge fact. We actually do get about 300 readers a day. This is not counting bots and randoms.

Some of you just want to post and put some stuff up and whatever. But most of us like to be read, heard, seen or whatever.

How many of you have 300 people willing to read something you wrote at work. hell, I don't even know 300 people in my personal life. This ain't Google or Yahoo, but 300 people beats most college radio stations. 300 people want to hear what we have to say. Some of you read, never comment or post, but like what you see.

This blog is less than a year old. The sites that spawned it are only slightly older. Through cooperation and arguemnts and weird tidbits and hump day jokes, we have a following. It's small, but even my college band that had a record deal on the table had less than a 100 person draw.

300 people!

And it's all due to us, the commentors, contributers and our readers. Think about that.

How many of you paint or draw or write or make music or have a new philosophy you want to have people notice?

Captain calls us attention whores (and includes himself). 300 people in less than a year. The law of exponential growth dictates that if we keep at it, we might have 6000 readers by next year.

Do you love your job? Do you wish you could use your God given talents to make a living?

Malach is doing it. He's a shameless self promoter, but he has web comic artists, people who need web sites and artists begging him for a spot now.

It's not just about money. We are a generation of people from age 14 to 40 that need a voice. This is our chance for that voice. Our politics may not match up, but we discuss and yell and admit and so on.

Example: Dr. Mantodea and I knew each other many years ago and had a chance to reconnect and now see each other every month oro so and have a blast. You'd think we hate each other by what you see and read here, but we don't. Actually, we're tongue in cheek most of the time, but we're both good guys who get along.

The same with the Angry Veteran and I, and Captain SpaceFarmer and I. Malach and I are brothers for crying out loud and we disagree. But do you know what intelligent (sometimes) discourse leads to? Actual discussion, solution and agreement.

This blog was just a quick brainstorm between Malach and I. Some of you feel like we dominate the blog and make the rules up as we go along and discriminate in how we apply these rules. But... we have 300 readers. Now, you do to. You may disagree with the method, but the results are there.

What's the bottom line. We all have a voice and our opinions. So often we complain that our friends, family and loved ones don't listen to us. Well, 300 strangers are listening. If we all pass this along and encourage others to post, comment and read, that number will grow quickly.

It's very easy to dismiss what Malach has done as egoism. It's not. It's providing a voice and an audience. people want to hear you. They want to see your art. They want to hear your music. They need to know your theories.

So, if we get on your ass for buring posts, or swearing too much, or being thoughtless... it's NOT personal. It's to build a place where we, the generation with NO VOICE can come to express ourselves and showcase our talents. Where else are you going to get two guys who have dumped over $1000 into free sites just to give you the chance to be heard.

It's not an ego trip. We decided a long time ago that this is what we wanted and we've worked hard and paid US dollars to give it to you.

Thank you for your hard work in helping the WoW become a success. Now, spread the word. Bring in new members. Encourage people to read and comment. It takes half a minute to send a link.

Let's take this to the next level. I don't care what you say, I know most of you would rather write to this blog and get paid and famous than work at the Wal Mart.

Why have I even bothered to rant? Because I've heard some mean stuff about Malach and I. Okay, some of it was funny and deserved. But has Malach ever asked you to do anything? Have we ever asked for a donation? Do we even advertise? Think about it.

We wanted this for us, for you and for like minded people. Let's re-energize and bring in more to the fold.

And Dr. M... the "Wrestling shit" is bringing hits. 50 more a day. Are these the people we want here? Yes. I don't judge by people's interests. If we find one genius that loves barbed wire matches, who cares about the rest.

And let's send an APB for Joey Polanski. Go support his blog. He's a smart guy and we want him to be here when he has the time. He's more well read than I am, and maybe even more than you.
