As we approach the 5th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, I still find myself pondering the events of those days and wondering... what really happened?
Did the truth unfold before my eyes as is or were those terrifying images of plane crashes, falling bodies and burning, crumbling buildings just an elaborate set up planned years in advance by sinister forces around the world?
I remember where I was, what I was doing, what I said, where I went, who I was with, the phone calls I made, the fear and excitement I felt, and the subsequent events that played out around me in the hours and days after that horrific morning.
There is a massive list of theories and various web sites offering up suggestions and "proof" that this was no simple terrorist attack bought on by extremist Muslims hell bent on killing Americans and instead, it was a massive conspriacy and cover up. Or was it?
I've had so many conversations, read so many articles and relived the memories in my head so many times over the past 5 years. I often find myself questioning what I SAW happening versus what I WAS TOLD happened.
This is all starting to feel like the Kennedy Assassination, The Apollo Moon Landings, The Attacks on

even a year later I thought I really knew what happened but after hearing all those good and different theories, I really doubt a lot. why doubt? cause I have no idea what purposes are behind, there is no possible logic I can come accross to try to justify what happened. All I know is that risk is outhere and that there are morbid minds.
I hate to believe the US Government or some world conspiracy had a hand in this. But the evidence continues to mount that some in the US government knew this might occur, and were either ingnored or did nothing about it.
That's what it is said about Pearl Harbor too.
Honestly, I don't know what to think anymore.

I've done lots of research on this day. I've read numerous theories.
I bought and watched Loose Change, a documentary that I highly recommend you all see (you can find it on YouTube). I've read the sites that discount Loose Change (although they do a horrible job backing anything up).
I'd like to say its hard to believe the government would do something like that, but the older i get, the easier it is for me to believe it. If there is some global conspiracy, there is much to gain by the hysteria, and it certainly assisted us in getting to this war.
It could all boil down to the ol idea of taking the smartest people, the leaders, and others, and them all getting down into a doomsday bunker while the rest of us kill each other off, and then they come out to an easier to rule world.

If our governemnt is that evil and corrupt that it would kill thousands of its own citizens just to start a war in the middle east, then it really don't matter what you saw or were told.
Let's examine this rationally. IF someone wanted those towers down and they wanted to scare us and start a real war without ANY public resistance... they would have used a nuke, not a plane.
And they used a normal commercial plane on the Pentagon Hobbs. Get over it. The FAA, NTSB and tons of other organizations confirm this. WAY too many people to buy off. Someone would have talked.

But if you seriously doubt what happened on 9/11, all you need to do is research the original Trade Center bombing and fill in the details.
Here's what happened: the two towers of the WTC were each hit by a plane. The planes were hijacked and piloted by terrorists. Many, many people died.
Did our government have credible warning that something like this might happen beforehand? Sure looks that way. And we can't even solely blame our current horrible President for that (happy, Murk?) because there's evidence the previous administration ignored threats too. Yeah, our government is often corrupt and shady and they lie to cover up their mistakes or oversights or straight-up fuckups.
But seriously, people...does anyone really believe that our own government attacked its own people with airplanes? That our own government destroyed the World Trade Center and almost single-handedly bankrupted the airline industry becasue it wanted to start a war? I hate this administration, I think Bush is a fucking liar, and I think that Cheney is the single most evil dude in the world...but even I don't believe that. Jesus Christ. Does anyone with half a brain (obviously this rules out Hobbs) believe that?
I haven't heard something so stupid since the "The government blew up the levees" story post-Katrina. (Yeah, they're response was deplorable, but it was the fucking category 5 storm that broke the levees, not the government).
oh I DK gov did it themselves, I do think that they lied to cover their mistake.
Truth hurts but I will be more glad if people is just honest than find out later on that they lied.

Final thought. How, in any way, does the government benefit from the destruction of the World Trade centers? Name one benefit that outweighs the cost in money, security, public relations etc etc...
I am sad to think that some Americans would actually think that our government would even consider killing thousands of our own to prove some kind of point or something. I don't think we have the greatest government right now but I sure don't think that they are as crazy and corrupt and selfish that they would actually massacre Americans. There would be no reason for that to occur. The extremist groups in the Mideast seem to have more of an MO to want to blow us up. They definitely made their point on 9/11/01 that they wanted war and war they are getting. I do believe that they are capable of hurting their own and others; they admit to convincing their own to participate in suicide bombings and such. What evidence do we have that the American govt would even think to do that?
oh I mistyped I meant I D T and not IDK, I was just checking out some 911 special at the discovery chanel, oh is amaizing how FBI have the links to the attack from late 80's according to the show of course, they had names, times, place of living, some were even arrested with false passports and released in the US (never deported) they even mentioned one guy they released just because Inmigration didn't have a bed for him. Its just crazy. So why they waited until the attack? wherent there enough proof (since late 80's?) according to the Discovery chanel show, some state to state FBI agencies had info on their own and never called it as a national issue so they never comunicated with each other.
And if you remember exactly the same day of 911 the names of the terrorists involved were released and everything like it didnt take them long to figure out.. why? cause they knew it that is why, I don't pretend to say the FBI did it intentionally but it was a high case of negligence (I am saiying this just to be a bit positive about it).
