Rule #1: Don't drop your ammo

From the AP wire:

CHICAGO - A U.S. air marshal removed himself from a Southwest Airlines flight Thursday after dropping a clip of bullets on the floor just before the plane was to take off, an airline spokeswoman said.

The marshal arrived at Midway International Airport on a flight from Philadelphia and was boarding a flight to Kansas City when the clip fell to the floor, scattering bullets, Southwest spokeswoman Whitney Eichinger told the Chicago Tribune for a story on its Web site.

"Since he was no longer traveling incognito, he decided not to continue on the flight," Eichinger said, adding that no extra screening of passengers was necessary because officials determined the bullets belonged to the air marshal. "He picked the bullets up immediately."

Think there was an uncomfortable silence before he picked them up? He's lucky he didn't get rushed.

wow he needs to be careful lol but I mean that can happen to anyone, a striper can always drop her toys at the airport in the middle of the screnning I guess! lol

AM = Air Marshall
FA= Flight Attendant

AM walks from loading ramp into front aisle of Southwestern 707. FA gives him a smile, but then has a look of horror and confusion as she looks down at his feet.

AM looks down and notices his clip of ammunition. AM and FA look at each other, not saying anything.

FA: "Did, uh, you drop something?"

AM: (blushing) "Uh, yeah, looks like I did."

AM bends down and grabs clip while other passengers look on.

AM: (to crowd) "U.S. Air Marshall folks - uh, looks like everything is under control here. have a safe flight."

AM pats his belt to make sure he still has his gun. Leaves.
