Wear your seatbelt, dumbass

Friday, April 13, 2007

From the AP:

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) -- Gov. John C. Corzine was apparently not wearing his seat belt as required by law when his official SUV crashed into a guard rail, leaving the governor hospitalized in critical condition, a spokesman said Friday.

The crash broke the governor's leg, six ribs, his sternum and a vertebrae. Authorities were searching for the pickup truck driver blamed for causing it.

Comment:

What do you mean, "apparently" wasn't wearing his seatbelt. He was either wearing it or not. Why is there a law requiring you to wear your seatbelt? So when some idiot swerves into you and wrecks your SUV you get minor contusions and soft tissue injury and not a broken leg, sternum, vertebrae, and rib cage.

I know it's only been the law for over twenty years and you are just the chief executive responsible for enforcing the law in New Jersey, but hey, dumbass, put your seatbelt on.

Quick, someone blame Al Sharpton or rap music - a white guy got hurt.

OMG lol

let me tell you a little joke.

I was riding in a friend of mine car, she has the same car and model I have but my car is a different year, her was new.

She picked me up and started driving off ... I heard the pilot going off and didn't stop until she fastened her seat belt, I said...

oh wow and warns you all the way until you fastened it? (Toyi very impress you don't imagine lol)

my friends turns to me & say, doesn't your car warns you? just checking mine is newer so I just wondering about your.

I looked at her and I started laughing and said OMG, you know what eh eh I just realized that I Don't know 'cause I never drive off without fasting my seat belt...

OMG eh eh eh eh that was a good laugh we had right there.

You see, even devout Christians who believe they are going to everlasting paradise with Jesus when they die, even they wear their seatbelts.

Malach is working on a post proving that Tawana Brawley unfastened his seat belt.

I always fasten my seatbelt, learned from one bad accident

Small world, I don't stick my hand in the trash compactor for that very same reason.

laws need to be obeyed, I could go to hell for not following the laws you know.

I have a theory, they taught you good, you practice it good = learn it good.
they taught bad, you practice it bad = learn it bad.
They taught you good, but you practiced it bad and you never were corrected = you do it bad.

I learned to drive here in USA from 0 driving experience, my mind was blank (and I wasn't a teen, my teacher was great... My will was follow his instructions.. there I go, putting my seat belt is almost automatic & I don't even have to think about it...I just do it almost by instinct.

Hey, Angry Asshole (Veteran).

You were an outright racist in college. You mocked black artists like Public Enemy and NWA. You said they all needed "A Hot Bath". Have you forgotten?

You were a racist, sexist pig. We tolerated it.

Now you Mr. Enlightened? Whitebred, please! You would spend HOURS mocking black history and culture.

Before you cry foul, remember, there are three witnesses to your racist rants on this blog alone.

So take your self righteous bullshit and shove it up your ass. Look at your own history... You.

We don't need your guilt.

Yes, of course. And that was, what, 10 to 15 years ago? Don't forget the jokes I used to ake about the disabled.

I also didn't know the difference between Japan and China. I'll readily admit I was sexist, racist, homophobic and geberally ignorant of the world outside my hometown. An ass. I think I remember advocating "nuke 'em" as a foreign policy as well. My college experience wasn't particularly enlightening either. Of course, I thought I was very, VERY smart. But, alas, I have kept learning and changed from that time. So, if I can finally start thinking for myself and looking at the world for what it is, then anyone can.

And funny you should mention guilt. You or I, both straight white males, have nothing to feel guilty about. Admitting what the power structure is in this country is not somehow a personal failing or a reason for us to feel bad or guilty about being straight, white, or male.

But, we should be honset about the history and present state of racism, sexism, and homophobia in our country.

It's easy enough to do.

So, are you going to leave Malach alone or what? He's ignorant and he'll see.

Malach always fastens his seatbelt, he'll be OK.

But he's a bad white boy. We should spank him!
