Public Service Announcement:
Your first class postage now costs 41 cents.
I'm just cheap enough so that this is the very last thing I needed to start paying all my bills online.
Online banking, here I come.
Oh, and I'll see you in line at the post office for the 2 cent stamps.
Damnit.
Cough up the Forty One cents

But on the other had Mr. Frugal, you can now pruchase the forever stamp. So got out and by a billion of them.
I don't use stamps since long ago, making a line for 2 cent stamps? no way I will get them from the bending machines.
Although it doesn't bother me that the stamp is now $0.41, it does bother me that in order to use the 2 books of stamps I have, I have to purchase 2 books of $0.02 stamps. Oh well....minor inconvenience.
Isn't this why we slaughtered the British?
No stamp screw-jobs without support from this blog!
Who's with me? Crumb?
Stamps are, for now, a part of life. Anyone bother to compare the gas price increase (percentage based) versus the increase of stamp prices?
Gas: 10%
Stamps: about 3%
Maibe I should be mailing myself to work.
Well, I have been know to 'mail it in' before.
Actually stamps are a 4.7% increase since 1940. Houses on the other hand . .. 16%
Salaries? 8%
I said about 3%. I didn't have my calculator. Take 2 cents and divide it by about 40. Somewhere around 5%
